When it comes to child development not having enough healthy food is devastating on physical and mental health.
Effects on school aged children include:

• Increased risk of anemia
• behavioral problems
• hyperactivity
• anxiety
• agression
FOOD CONNECTION currently connects meals to the children and families at Verner Center fo Early Learning, YTL / Youth Transformed for Life and IRL / In Real Life at Asheville Middle School
