MOBILE MEALS:
• operates as a food rescue vehicle to pick up surplus leftover prepared food from restaurants, caterers and institutions
• reaches rural communities in Buncombe and neighboring counties with onboard cold storage to safely transport meals
• provides a Free Food Truck Experience offering our neighbors their choice of menu items for free of charge, no questions asked. ALL are welcome!

The Food Connection Mission
Food Connection eases hunger, reduces waste and supports our local food industry by redistributing surplus prepared food and purchasing meals from chefs to serve our neighbors in need. Food Connection is currently operating in North Carolina in Buncombe and Madison Counties.

Saturday Swannanoa Curbside Drive-thru
Saturdays at 11am - 105 Whitson Ave., Swannanoa
Food Connection distributes complimentary heat and serve meals every Saturday at 11am. ALL are welcome. No questions asked. Meals include a meat, vegetable and starch. This distribution has been made possible through grants from The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministries Hunger Walk, The WNC Bridge Foundation, The Black Mountain Swannanoa Valley Endowment Fund and an anonymous donor.
