We are expanding our operations! We are thrilled to announce that we have signed a lease with our long-time partners at St. George's Episcopal Church. Construction will begin in August on the lower level to create our very own School Road Hub. Behind the scenes, we've been working with architects, contractors and community members to design an efficient new space equipped with expanded refrigeration, stainless steel meal packing tables, a commercial dishwasher, offices, and community conference room.
The timing couldn't be better. This year alone, we've added 28 new food donor partners and continue to receive new requests from partner agencies in need of prepared meals. While we will not be providing direct meal distribution from this location, the School Road Hub will serve as a central logistics center for food coming in and meals going out through our free food truck, community connectors, and volunteers.
Ultimately, more space means more rescued food, more partnerships, and more mealsfor our neighbors. Every square foot of this new hub will help us increase our impact and expand what is possible-together.
